How to Check Your HEP Requirements and Status

Online:
From Care Compass (carecompass.ct.gov), register for your personalized benefits portal powered by Quantum Health.

From your personalized Quantum portal:
1. Select the My Health tab to view your HEP information
2. Select the My Plan tab to view your current medical plan information. By clicking on “Pharmacy” under My Plan, you can view your CVS account and manage your prescriptions directly.

You can contact a Care Coordinator for online assistance by logging into your portal. You can live chat, secure message or schedule a phone call with a Care Coordinator from your personalized portal.

The MyQHealth app is also available from the App Store so that you can register and log in from your phone.

Scholarships

The Health Enhancement Program promotes benefits to our members, such as:
· Improved health outcomes
· Lives saved through increased screenings and improved chronic disease care
· Health care premium savings for the State and our members

For those who participate in the program, there are two parts to complying with the HEP requirements:
· Getting appropriate preventive services
· Completing chronic condition education for members with asthma, COPD, diabetes, heart failure, high blood pressure or high cholesterol

The program runs on a calendar year basis. All requirements (preventive and education) are to be completed by December 31 of each year.

CEUI Local 511 will be continuing the tradition of awarding scholarship money to deserving children of active members. We will be offering four (4) $2500 scholarships to high school seniors whose parents are members of CEUI Local 511.

Scholarship Requirements
The applicant must:

  • Be the child of a dues-paying member of CEUI Local 511 who is currently working
  • Be a senior in high school about to enter a four-year accredited college in the Fall of 2023
  • Complete the application by May 26, 2023
  • All applicants will interview with the Scholarship Committee on a date to be determined in June/July

Union Resources

Important: HEP program requirements do not apply to Medicare retirees or their Medicare spouses/dependents covered by the Aetna Medicare Advantage plan. Those covered by the Aetna plan may register or sign in for their Aetna plan information at ct.aetnamedicare.com or by going to carecompass.ct.gov, clicking on Retirees and then on Medicare Advantage.

Care Compass is the centralized online hub dedicated to the state health plan, providing access to all health benefits materials and information. You will notice the Care Compass logo on benefit communications coming from the state.
