GET INVOLVED!
Sometimes members forget the
important role politics play in their lives. Political action is
especially important for public employees.
Most workers do not have the opportunity to hire or fire their
own boss. You do!
By
getting involved in politics, you can decide who controls the future
of thousands of public employees. Don't let others decide your
future! Help out:
-
Volunteer - phone banking, visibility, leafleting,
canvassing and Election Day work
-
Donate to COPE (our political action fund)
-
Join the COPE Committee (members interested in political
action)
-
Contact
your legislators - write, phone, e-mail and attend events.
